UPDATE: Our DoFollow Blog Search Engine has launched!!! Easily find those DoFollow Blogs, plus sort it by those blogs with CommentLuv and Top Commenters plugin installed!
Many of you have probably seen different DoFollow blogs search engines, (What is DoFollow?) created in order to help people to find blogs that talk about a certain keywords that also use DoFollow for their comments. Such search engines have received mixed reviews. They do drive up spam, but it also brings people to your blog that could become regular readers if they like what they read.
I think that such a search engine is very valuable, as long as the search engine owner is willing to remove a site from the search engine if the owner of the site requests it.
But, all of these DoFollow Blogs Search Engines fall short… most have a fancy cool Web 2.0 logo, they use Google custom search which is a free and very easy to use and setup search engine script, and they ultimately provide a list of DoFollow blogs… but, they don’t go above and beyond and offer additional tools to help you to create even more backlinks.
What do I plan to do to fix this?
I will be launching my own DoFollow Blog Search Engine.
Yup, the Link Building Bible will be creating a great tool for you to build more backlinks. I don’t want to give away details about it quite yet, but do know that it will be better than any of the current dofollow blog search engines you’ve come across. You will be able to not only find Dofollow blogs to post legit comments on, but it will allow you to find which blogs offer other great opportunities for building additional backlinks to your site.
I am way excited about this, but I want it to be great from the get-go… so be patient, because it will be very much worth the wait!

Your dofollow search engine idea will be really helpful but don’t you get a lot of crappy comments just for a backlink?
No… i don’t really get many…. there’s been a few with a link in the actual comment text, which i edit to remove the link since i already give link love in the comment name, comment luv, and top commenters… i don’t need to be giving any more.
But, the search engine is coming along great… i have like 100+ blogs already cataloged…. working to get 100-200 more before launch.
I will patiently wait to see your search engine.
